In this very spiritual nation, many are seeking enlightenment: here is your opportunity to bring the true light of the Gospel to Nepal. Home to 8 of the 10 highest mountain peaks in the world, including Mount Everest, many travelers venture to the Himalayas each year. You can expect a different kind of mountain-top experience this summer as you venture with a different purpose. After your training at Boot Camp in Tewantin, QLD, you will fly from Brisbane International Airport to Singapore, then straight on to Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital. From there you will travel by bus to your project site near Urlabari, where you will stay at an orphanage and lay the foundation and first floor for another orphanage. You will see why this ministry needs to expand. Concreting and bricklaying aren’t the only skills you’ll be trained in for this team however. Smiles abound when children play after school is out – countless opportunities for children’s ministry wander right to your door! Earthquakes in 2015 devastated the lives of millions of children in Nepal, leaving many homeless, orphaned and at risk of trafficking. The “aftershocks” of these earthquakes are not over, though they have long left the top of our newsfeeds. Do you have energy to work and a passion to share the love of God with children using drama, music and puppets? See Jesus at work and do something that counts in this mostly unreached nation! Surrounded by India and China, you will see the beauty of many cultures in both the bustling cities and primitive villages of Nepal, as well as the spectacular views of lofty mountains and countless rice fields. Bartering awaits you in the marketplace; elephants roam through the jungles; and the mountains are calling. Will you go?

Prices DO NOT include the registration fee or any travel to Boot Camp and home from Tewantin QLD. All clothing, passport, visas, immunizations, equipment deposits, air tax or levies, changes in exchange rates, personal expenses, spending money and any other items required are at the participant’s expense. These expenses may vary substantially and will be made known to you nearer the time of departure and when an accurate cost can be determined by the airlines and immigration.
