Mike ReillyMike Reilly

Qualifications: 22 years Bible Teaching in BMW Training Centres worldwide; Lieutenant, QLD Fire Department; Currently undertaking Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)

Experience: Mike has served with Teen Missions International for over 20 years and has been the Teen Missions International Australia Coordinator, along with his wife, Rena, for the past 10 years. He has been teaching in BMW Training Centres around the world for over 20 years and has visited over 30 countries on short term missionary service. He has been leading overseas mission teams since 1981 and joined Teen Missions staff in 1986. He is zealous for the Kingdom of God and is a gifted communicator. Mike is actively involved in the local community as Lieutenant in Tewantin with the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service (QFRS) and has been a volunteer fire fighter for over 30 years.

Rena Reilly

Qualifications: Degree in Biblical Studies and Children’s Education – Christ for the Nations Dallas, Texas. 

Experience: Rena has been involved with Teen Missions since 1990 and brings years of ministry and life experience to the TMIA Bible College program. She has worked as a Children’s pastor, Christian teacher and also taught disabled children. In 1990 Rena and Mike were married and she became staff at Teen Missions Florida where she was a leader on numerous Teen Missions teams. In 2000 she and Mike moved to Teen Missions Australia with their two children. Rena currently takes care of TMIA finance, literature and the many camps that come through our property. Rena helped develop a syllabus for the Aids Orphans and Street Children program and also leads Adult Work Teams over to Africa every year.

Margaret SandersMargaret Sanders

Qualifications: Certificate IV Ministry; Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment

Experience: Margaret has been teaching at the BMW Training Centre since 2003. She is a qualified supervisor in Workplace Training and Assessment and spent 3 years coordinating the Bible training program at the Noosa COC Ministry Training Institute. Margaret has also spent 10 years working with ‘King’s Commandos,’ which is a similar program to Boys’ Brigade. Margaret brings a wealth of knowledge, life and ministry experience to the BMW Training Program.

Julia Hobby

Qualifications: Bachelor of Teaching and Learning – Waikato University School of Education, Graduated 2010 Teen Missions International Australia Gap Year Program; Cert III in Christian Ministries and Theology

Experience: Julia brings nine years of classroom teaching experience, specialising in music education and the arts. She loves working alongside people, helping them see their potential and God given gifts.   Julia has had experience in teaching adults with learning difficulties, teaching 3 and 4 year olds at kids church, teaching English in a Cambodian orphanage and recently teaching RE at a local state school. Julia has also been involved in mentoring young adults through serving in church music teams, as a cell leader assistant and also as part of a Teen Missions team to Cambodia in 2009-10.
