Camp Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped with a large gas oven with six burners, 2 commercial electric ovens, fridge/freezer, two double sinks, three preparation tables, a small electric urn, conveyor toaster, large pots, bowls, jugs, baking pans and trays and serving utensils. You will need to supply plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. Also avaliable is a 9' x 7' cool room at extra cost.
Main Shed
This multi-purpose outdoor pole barn is ideal for dining and for group meetings.There are plenty of tables and chairs for dining, plus enough bench seats for meetings of 120 people.
There is a permanent stage area at one end of the building. Groups will need to provide their own sound equipment. A data projector screen is available.
A 15m swimming pool is available to all camps. The pool is kept locked at all times to ensure safety. A key will be made available to the group leader. Competent adult supervision is required.
Basketball Court and Volleyball Court
A full basketball court and beach volleyball court is available for use anytime. Camps will need to provide their own sporting equipment e.g. basketballs, volleyballs etc
Obstacle Course
Teen Missions Camp Ground offers an Obstacle Course that can be great for team building and personal challenges. At present, booking the Obstacle Course is free of charge and is supervised by one of our staff members who will give the necessary safety instructions. The course can be tailored to you needs and may include a Books of the Bible challenge, Hezekiah's tunnel, False prophet passage, Needle's eye, a mountain of tyres, rope swing over a moat and a 3.6m wall.Booking prior to arrival is essential.
Large Grassed Oval
Adjacent to the main shed is a large grassed open field ideal for cricket, soccer, footy or other team building activities.
Toilet/Shower Block
Toliets and shower facilities are available. Hot water for the showers is heated by a wood boiler. The Teen Missions staff will show someone from your group how to operate this. Brooms, mops and buckets are provided for cleaning. You will need to supply your own toilet paper, cleaning liquids and cloths.
A coin-operated washing machine is available. Each load requires 2 x $1 coins.
Two soft drink machines are located on property. The entire profit of one machine goes towards supporting Aids Orphans and Street Children in Zambia. Cans cost only $1. No change given.
