Dates of Involvement: 26 December 2020 – 24 January 2021

Venture out north this summer with MAF! Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is a Christian organisation that provides aviation services for people living in remote areas around the world where flying is not a luxury, but a lifeline. Every four and a half minutes, a MAF plane takes off or lands somewhere in the world, delivering practical and spiritual care to isolated people. This summer, you will get a hands on experience, working with the staff and training centre while learning about what it takes to be a missionary pilot and work with aviation missions.

Together with your team, you will be heading out to a remote community, taking a message of encouragement, hope and joy through drama, testimony and music. You will offer practical support to projects undertaken by MAF staff, and may spend some time on maintenance for the families living at the training centre. Your time of training begins at Boot Camp in Tewantin, QLD, and continues throughout your summer project, concluding with Debrief back on the Teen Missions base.

Team Cost: AU$1,970 + AU$65 Registration fee

Prices DO NOT include the registration fee or any travel to Boot Camp and home again.  All clothing, insurance, immunizations, equipment deposits, personal expenses, spending money and any other items required are at the participant’s expense. These expenses may vary substantially and will be made known to you nearer the time of departure and when an accurate cost can be determined. We apologize for any and all inconveniences.
