Teen Missions Summer Teams are for all teens and young adults from 13 years old. There is no other screening for team members. Leaders without any prior Teen Missions experience must be at least 21 years old (Former Team Members must be 18 years old.) Teams are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The primary purpose of our summer teams program is to build teens spiritually, physically, mentally and socially.  We endeavor to instill in young people a missionary vision and to equip them to live victoriously for the Lord.

The Lord's Boot Camp is situated just outside of Tewantin, QLD.  From there, most teams will travel to their projects, then complete their summer with a 3 day Debrief.

This summer, there are 4 teams to choose from: Thailand, New Zealand, Injinoo (QLD) and Sunshine Coast (QLD).

The dates of involvement for this year's program are 10 December 2022 - 21 January 2023. All team members must arrive on time and stay until the end of the program.

Interested in serving as a volunteer at our Boot Camp? Before our summer teams head out each year, we run a 10-day training camp designed to equip our team members and leaders for their mission trips. There are many tasks required to run Boot Camp and we are always on the lookout for people who are keen to be a part of this. You don’t need to be young to volunteer, as we have many tasks to be filled by people of all ages and experience.

A few of the areas you can serve in during our training camp:

  • Food Preparation
  • Driving teams to and from airports (*bus licence required*)
  • Speaking at our evening rallies
  • Running boot camp classes
  • Teaching work training classes (block laying, carpentry, painting, music, etc)
  • Boot Camp Counselling
  • Airport Greeters
  • Video/Sound for daily classes/evening rallies
  • Photography/Videography
  • Plus many more daily jobs….

No previous experience is required to fulfill any of these roles, we’re just looking for people willing to serve and be a part of what God is doing in and through our young people. However, if you do have a specific trade that could be useful to helping train our teens, we’d love to hear from you.
