Australian and New Zealand young people from the age of 13 are eligible for Teen Missions teams. Adult leaders are to be at least 20. There is no other screening for team members. Teams are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You must be willing to wear 15cm leather construction boots for the duration of your involvement.
The primary purpose is to build teens spiritually, physically, mentally and socially. Today, with the influence of the world, we desire to help young people live victoriously for the Lord, and at the same time we endeavour to instill in them a missionary vision. Team involvement requires that each team member and leader sign a statement that they will stay through to the end of debrief. There are no exceptions to this.
The Lord’s Boot Camp is situated just outside of Tewantin, QLD. From there, teams will travel to their projects, then complete their trip with a 4 day Debrief before heading home. Our 2019 projects are in Uganda, Mexico, Scotland, Nepal and Vanuatu.
