Adult Work Teams

If you are ready for the adventure of a lifetime this is what you are looking for. This is not a ministry for the faint of heart as conditions are rugged—sleeping in tents in a rural bush area, bathing using a bucket, outhouses and no electricity, phones or e-mail. Although the conditions are challenging, the rewards are abundant. These orphans with their tattered clothes and cheerful smiles will engrave a lasting image on your heart. Please prayerfully consider one of the following teams.

AIDS Orphans and Street Children opened its first Orphan Rescue Unit in November of 2001. This new concept in taking the “orphanage to the orphan” has been very successful and is literally saving lives. Through these Units, we are meeting the needs of children who once had no one to care for them by providing medical care, teaching them how to farm, being their advocate and providing education. We are also making a difference by enhancing village life through the donations of nutrition seminars, wells and grinding mills. Not only are we meeting physical needs, we are meeting spiritual needs by introducing the children to the Lord Jesus Christ. We now have AIDS orphans who have been with us since 2001 and have just entered their first term in a Teen Missions Bible school. All of these Units are under the leadership of national staff who are graduates of our Bible schools.

Projects vary from country to country and are based on need. Please read each mission trips’ copy carefully in order to understand what would be required of you should you choose that particular team. There will be ample opportunities to share the Gospel and to love and interact with the children. You will also have the opportunity to visit a local church and school.
