TMI's CORE VALUES

FOUNDED ON GOD'S WORD

Teen Missions believes in the authority, infallibility, inspiration and purpose of God’s Word, the Bible. We believe that the Word of God is inerrant in its original documents.

Called to Make Disciples

Teens Missions emphasises unity centred on the call to disciple youth and present them with opportunities and possibilities in world missions. Our organisation follows the New Testament model of discipleship. Teen Missions’ leadership will train and mentor staff, volunteers and others to carry the ministry vision to the next generation.

MATTHEW 28:18-20 | 2 TIMOTHY 2:2 | EPHESIANS 4:16

Common calling to World Evangelism

We are committed to world evangelism with priority on the proclamation of God’s Word and then the outflow of mercy ministries complementing that primary goal.

Mark 16:15 | Luke 24:47 | 1 John 3:17 | Deuteronomy 15:7-8

Committed to a Spirit of Grace

We must be accountable for our testimony and example as representatives of Jesus Christ and of Teen Missions. Our employees and volunteers are held to a high, Biblical standard and questionable conduct is handled in a spirit of love, humility and grace.

1 Thessalonians 3:13 | Galatians 5:16, 22-25

Interdenominational Approach

Our staff, leaders and team members come from many churches and denominations. Thousands of teens and adults have seen, while serving with Teen Missions , that the body of Christ can work together for the furtherance of the Gospel despite doctrines that have historically divided believers. As important as these doctrines are, Teen Missions does not take a position on them because our specific calling is to challenge and disciple youth of all Bible-believing denominations concerning their personal walk with God, evangelism, and worldwide missions. We believe relationships built while serving together help heal some of the divisions that have divided the body of Christ.

PSALM 133:1-3

Partnership with the Local Church

Teen Missions’ pattern for ministry includes strategic cooperation with churches that share our conviction on biblical authority. Teen Missions, made up of missionaries sent from their own home churches, is itself an extension of the church to assist and equip churches in accomplishing the Great Commission. Internationally, we will engage and work alongside the local church to see that a biblical church model under national leadership is established.
