Dear Parents and Friends,
Just a quick update about the flooding that is happening. First off we are high and dry and the roads around us are open. The roads between Teen Missions base and the Brisbane Airport are open, and it looks like they will remain open. So we will have no problem picking the teams up. We are stocked up with supplies and are ready for them to come back. By the reports that we have received from the leaders they are all in good spirits and starting their sight seeing days before flying back to Australia. They are more worried about you and how you are doing.
We have just one favour to ask of everyone. Because we have other camps here at this time and the lack of staff we are unable to keep up with the call volume. If you could help by keeping our phone lines open for emergency calls only that would be a huge help. If we do have any problems or any change of plans we will contact you with updates. But we need the phone lines to remain open for us to do so. Thank you for your understanding and your prayers.
