Travel to the incredible island nation of Madagascar and spend your summer working alongside Thrive Madagascar. This nonprofit ministry seeks to show the Malagasy people God's unconditional love in practical ways. You and your team will spend time in the capital, Antananarivo, working at The Living Centre, making it more accessible for the community by constructing a pathway to the center. You will significantly impact the locals who use the center for kids programs, disability support groups, youth groups and various classes. You will then travel 145km to Soavinandriana, where Children of the Light is located in the countryside. Here you will be a part of constructing a new community center. You will be an encouragement to those faithfully loving the local community there. During the summer, you might like to experience the delicious local dish of Ravitoto or catch sight of a chameleon or even try some of Madagascar's world-famous vanilla beans. One thing is for sure; your summer will be filled with once-in-a-lifetime experiences, lasting memories, and wonderful friendships.
